swingapore sister, out!

After months of silence on this site, I have decided to write one last entry.

It's been four years, I believe, since I started this blog, and now I feel it's time to move on.

I'll be signing off here, but you can find me at my new blog, Walastik Holistic! – click on the link, and you'll find out what it's all about :)

Thanks for stopping by, reading, sharing and making comments.

Love,
Swingapore Sis

must. blog. something

It's been a while, and not that there's nothing to blog about. On the other hand, there's just way too much, and all good. This one I finished at 9pm-ish tonight. I was a bit crazy. I put it off for two weeks, and went for the mad scramble and did 33,000 words in two days. Never again. I'll go slow and steady next time.

And all for a purple bar...and this certificate of course.

In other news, I finally released Undercover Tai Tai under Marshall Cavendish, under the AsianChic series, with Mrs MisMarriage by Noelle Chua and Amazing Grace by Tara FT Sering. Click here for the scoop! The books are available at Kinokuniya, Borders, and Times Bookstores in Singapore and Malaysia. Here's the poster on the day of the signing :)

it's been a while...

I haven't been blogging, and it's simply because so much is happening. To even begin to write it all down won't do it justice.

So let me just say that life has been very good indeed. And perhaps, I am considering doing a Provenciana...

not accustomed to the customs at 11pm

I was subtle-chirpy when I approached the wide expanse of immigrations, but the customs lady didn't smile. Instead, she asked me to take my specs off as she did alternate takes at my passport photo and then my face. Still unconvinced, she asked: "Will you do a smile like dat?" and she forced one as if to mimic my photo. When I finally did, it took her three seconds before a convinced look registered on her face. I think I'm really sleepy, that's why.
